The study was conducted in response to the problem of low levels of students\u2019 academic achievement and the dominance of traditional teaching methods based on rote learning, which necessitates the use of modern instructional strategies that enhance scientific thinking and improve learning outcomes.<br \/>\nThe researcher adopted a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The research sample consisted of (40) male and female third-grade intermediate students. To achieve the objectives of the study, two instruments were developed: an achievement test consisting of (40) items and a scientific thinking scale consisting of (25) items covering the skills of observation, classification, inference, abstraction, and prediction.<br \/>\nThe results of the statistical analysis showed a significant increase in the mean scores of students in both academic achievement and scientific thinking in the post-test compared with the pre-test, with statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in favor of the post-test. The findings also indicated a very large effect size according to Cohen\u2019s index for both variables.
