Where this date came as a witness to clear examples of such coups before the Second World War, the first coup took place in 1923 at the time of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The 1960 coup also took place as a military response to the troubled state of &#8220;chaos&#8221; in Turkey, which brought the Turkish economy to a complete standstill. The Turkish army, led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and under the guise of the Republican People&#8217;s party, was able to control the traditions of government until his death on November 10, 1938.
