Abstract
In this work palmitic acid Reacted with absolute ethanol to give palmitic ethyl ester (B1) the compound (B1) on aminolysis with hydrazine hydrate in EtOH yielded palmitic acid hydrazide (B2), and then react (B2) with ethyl acetoacetate to give pyrazol-5-one (B3),the new chalcones (B4-B9) were synthesized from reacting pyrazol-5-one with various aromatic aldehydes., and then react chalcones compounds with some of acid hydrazide derivatives to give pyrazole compounds.
The structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, melting point,and some of their confirmed by(1H NMR). Some of these compounds showed good anti-bacterial activity (B3, B16, B18, B23), and Anti-bacterial of some prepared compounds against two types of bacteria: Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive) and E.coli (Gram negative),
