Abstract
The present research involved morphological and anatomical characteristics for some cultivars of the species cultivated belonging to the genus Brassica L . namely : Brassica. oleracae var.capitata (: Kirmizi , Rosso) , B. oleracae var.botrytis(Turkey, palla) ,B. oleracae var. italica(Turkey , Calabrese) ,B.rapaB.nigra ( Local ). The morphological characteristics of the pollen grains ( shape , size , dimension and surface ornamentation ) .Showed that ispolar , tricolpated for all cultivars.The shape in polar axis is spherical , subspherical , spherical- traingular and traingular but in equatorial axis is spherical, substrate , ovate or orate – Oblong and the types of surface ornamentation was reticulate for all cultivars species. This results have importance value for separation and identification cultivars studied . Anatomical studied included the characteristics of epidermal surface cells of the leaf venation and indumentum of the leaf . Results showed differences among cultivars and have a good taxonomic value for isolation the cultivars.
