Abstract:

The current study aimed to identify the reality of using virtual laboratories in teaching science at the College of Science, King Khalid University, and to identify the viewpoint of faculty members in using virtual laboratories in light of the Corona pandemic. Data collection, and for this purpose, the study tool was prepared, which consisted of a questionnaire consisting of three main axes that included 30 phrases. During the second semester of the academic year 1443 AH, and in order to answer the questions of the study, the data was collected and unloaded, and then some statistical methods were used to explain the results. A percentage of (19.65%), which is a degree of availability less than the test. And the requirements for the use of virtual coefficients from the point of view of the faculty members reached a percentage of (22.95%), which is a low degree of requirement. The obstacles to using virtual laboratories in teaching science courses from the point of view of faculty members reached (29.35%), which indicates that the obstacles to using virtual laboratories are high. Based on the results, some suggestions and recommendations that may contribute to achieving the objectives of the study were presented.
