Abstract
Public spending is one of the most important means that allow the state and governments to control the national economy by increasing or decreasing it according to the need and according to its ability to secure financing. Whether developed or developing, imbalances occur that negatively affect the various macroeconomic balances. The study aimed to study the impact of government spending and other economic variables on inflation rates for the period (2004-2021), and by using modern econometric methods according to the (EViews.12) program, which is represented by the data merging method (time series data and cross sections) and for a selected group of Arab countries, the study reached a set of conclusions.
