Abstract
The field study was conducted in Al-Alam District of Salah Al-Din Governorate, where it included the cultivation of two potato fields planted with five varieties of the first generation potatoes (Burn, Rivera, Spectra, Arizona and Fuji), as the survey showed, according to molecular diagnosis, the presence of two types of aphids that The potato crop in the district of Al-Alam / Salah al-Din governorate, where the potato crop is grown, is infected by the green peach bug Myzus persicae and the potato bug Macrosiphum euphorbiae, as these two insects are a new record for the first time in Iraq, according to the data of the World Gene Bank.
