Abstract
The study aimed to build a measure of psychological energy, identify psychological energy, and identify the relationship of psychological energy to the sporting excellence of Premier League club players in volleyball for the season (2022/2023). The researcher adopted a descriptive research approach in the survey style because it is more appropriate for solving the research problem. The total research sample was (253) players out of a total of (300) players. The research community is represented by the players participating in the Premier Class Volleyball Club Championship for the 2022/2023 sports season, representing a percentage of (84%) of the total community. Their number was distributed to the research sample. Their number was (133) players. The initial application sample is from a total of (160) players representing (83%) from the first grouping, represented by the Premier League clubs participating in the Group (A) qualifiers held in Basra Governorate and the clubs. They are (Southern Gas, Bahri, Police, Erbil, Haditha, Sinjar, Al-Qasim, and Martyrs City), which are (8) clubs, and the clubs of the Second Settlement participating in the Group (B) qualifiers, which are held in Baghdad Governorate, and the clubs are (Army, Peshmerga, (7) refineries of the North, Habbaniya, Al-Sinaa, Hit, and Al-Samoud) for the final application, as their number was (120) players out of a total of (140), so the percentage was (86%). The results of the tests were processed using the SPSS bag. For psychological sciences, the researcher concluded that the players of the Premier League volleyball clubs possess an appropriate degree of psychological energy, and athletic excellence is affected by certain degrees of psychological energy among the players of the Premier League volleyball clubs.
