Abstract
The research mainly aims to study the marketing costs, revenues, profits, marketing margins and marketing efficiency of the direct marketing route from the producer to the consumer for itinerant fish sellers in Salah al-Din
Governorate / Tikrit district for the production season 2022. A stratified random sample was selected from the study area consisting of (75) fish producers in The study area collected information for the research through a questionnaire that was designed for producers, and then information for peddlers through a questionnaire of (20) distributed among peddlers. ) dinar/ton,The absolute and relative marketing margin between the producer and the street vendors was about (2000) dinars / kg, (50%), respectively, and the profits of the street vendors amounted to (1937795) dinars / ton, and the marketing efficiency was about (32.3%). We conclude from this that the marketing efficiency was Low due to high production and marketing costs. The study recommends giving importance to scientific research, carrying out comprehensive studies of fish from production to marketing, and providing specialized markets that comply with health and environmental conditions .
