Abstract:

This research aims to study Al-Hajjaj in Andalusian poetry through the purpose of satire as a psychological phenomenon through which a speech can influence its recipients. He focused on the concept of pilgrimage in language and terminology, and explained the elements of the pilgrimage process, in addition to explaining its types, especially the dialogical type, and then examined the poem of Abu Ishaq Al-Ilbiri and analyzed it pilgrimageally, and all of this is according to the descriptive analytical approach in which the phenomenon is described in its poetic context and then analyzed to make it clear. The argumentative dimension is clear in it, and how the Andalusian poet employs the purpose of satire in presenting his convictions and urging adherence to them by the recipient. It has emerged from the research that influence and persuasion in poetic discourse do not dispense with an effective declarative mechanism to achieve response. Among these mechanisms was the use of Al-Hajjaj in communicating with his multiple positions to represent the various motives that the Andalusian poet experienced, and upon which his Al-Hajjaj speech was based, with its various topics that were brought together by a ceiling of controversy, discussion, and a multiplicity of visions, to reveal mental prowess mixed with artistic creativity that refutes the rumors of superficiality, simplicity, and indulgence in amusement.

Keywords: Al-Hajjaj, satire, Andalusian poetry, dialogue poetry, Abu Ishaq Al-Albiri.
