Abstract
This study tried to identify the nature of the relationship between the quality of life of university students and its relationship to academic efficiency. The descriptive analytical approach was relied upon using the social survey design, and a questionnaire prepared by the researcher was used to collect data. The study was applied to a simple random sample of (304) male and female students from the College of Arts at King Faisal University. Using SPSS statistical analysis, the data was processed. Results showed that the total score of the quality of life dimensions was high, and the psychological and emotional quality of life ranked first, followed by family life, then educational life, and finally recreational life. The total score of the academic competence quality dimensions came high, and academic perseverance came first, followed by self-regulation, then confidence in academic performance, and finally the cognitive and academic dimension. Statistical tests revealed a strong positive correlation between the quality of life of university students and academic efficiency. There were no differences in the responses of sample members attributed to gender, scientific department, years of study, and family size, except for family income, all for higher economic levels. Some recommendations were presented.
