Abstract
The objective of the study was to ascertain the influence of artificial intelligence on crisis management within the context of Tulkarm Hospital. A descriptive-analytical methodology was employed, and the research utilized a questionnaire as the primary instrument for data acquisition. The target population comprised the employees of Tulkarm Hospital, encompassing a sample of (60) male and female staff members. The sample was selected through a random process, and (60) questionnaires were successfully retrieved, yielding a response rate of (100.0%). The findings from the statistical analysis indicated that the implementation of artificial intelligence at Tulkarm Hospital was substantial, with a relative weight of 82.4%, illustrating the institution’s dependence on AI technologies to enhance its operational performance and efficiency amidst the challenging political and economic conditions. Furthermore, it was determined that the mean score for “crisis management” was (4.20), accompanied by a standard deviation of (0.55) and a relative weight of (83.9%), signifying an exceptionally high standard of crisis management at Tulkarm Hospital. The results disclosed a statistically significant correlation at the significance threshold (α≤ 0.05) between the application of artificial intelligence (including chatbots, recommendation systems, and data analysis) and crisis management within Tulkarm Hospital. This underscores the considerable impact of AI on crisis management, highlighting the crucial role that technology assumes in enhancing crisis management practices. Nonetheless, the findings did not indicate any statistically significant variances among the sample members’ average assessments regarding the influence of AI on crisis management that could be attributed to demographic factors such as job title. However, disparities were observed based on gender in favor of males, educational attainment in favor of individuals holding a diploma, and years of service, which favored those with 5 to less than 10 years of experience.
