Abstract
The ressearchaims to identify the level of practioners ofbioIogy teachers to the skiIIsof scientific thinking and cognitive above.The ressearch sample consisted of (152) teachers were chosen by intentionally belonging to the directors of the education departmments in the judicial districts(Maysan and Majar AI-kabeer).The ressearch included two tools:the first tool was scientific thinking skills which consisted of sevenskills (52) items.The second tool included the super –cognitivethinking skills,which included threeskills (26)items.The results of the ressearch showed that thelevel of practice ofbioIogy teachers in scientific thinkingskiIIs was an averagelevel, with an arithmetic mean(3.11) and standard deviation (0.90). theresultsshowed a Also, the calculated value of (T) is less than thevalue of (T) tabular value in all areas ofscientific thinking skills tool except two areas (summingskills, comparativeskills), as it three is no statistically significant difference in theseareas due to variable teaching experience (short,long) and that thevalue of (T) calculated greatar thanthevalue of (T) spreadsheet in the twoareas (summarizationskill, comparativeskill) that there is astatistically significant difference these twoareas attributable tovariable teaching experience,in faver of shortteaching experience, as for theresults of ressearch in the level ofpractice The bioIogy teachers of supra-cognitivethinking skills had an averagelevel with anaverage sens and a standard deviation (0.87)(3.03) yieldedresults that thevalue of (T) less than the calculatedvalue (T) tabulated in all three areas, including indicating the absence of statistically significantdifferences due to the variable teaching experience
