Abstract
The study’s primary objective was to identify the reality of knowledge management in the field of family guidance in Saudi Arabian family development organizations. The researcher employed a social survey technique using a sample and a questionnaire to gather data from the study community, which was represented by leaders and workers in family development groups that practice and give advise to families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The research sample consisted of eighty-two participants. The investigation produced several of findings, the most prominent of which are:
Reality of knowledge management in the field of family guidance has reached a reasonable level in family development associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The findings also revealed that the research participants agree on the relevance of knowledge management in family guiding procedures, as well as specific challenges that family development organizations face when implementing knowledge management. The findings also revealed statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) in the reality of applying knowledge management in the field of family counseling in family development associations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, depending on the variables of the Kingdom’s regions. The findings also revealed statistically significant variations in the problems that family development associations face while implementing knowledge management in different parts of the Kingdom. The findings also showed several ideas to assist enhance the reality of knowledge management in family advice procedures in family development organizations.
Taking the implications of the findings, the researcher made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are to hire knowledge management specialists and supply the funds required for knowledge management in family development associations.
