Abstract :
Peas (the local type) were planted with millet (the Iraqi variety) in the canopy of the field crops section, so that the irrigation at the planting site relied on manually irrigating the anvils in amounts approximately equivalent to the rainfall rate in that site and at a time close to it. The final results showed that the cultivation of peas with Millet formed a clear competition for the pea crop against the millet crop, as the dry weight of millet decreased greatly, and the moral difference was clear between the cultivation of each crop alone and their cultivation as fodder mixtures.
