Abstract
A field experiment was carried out in Diyala Governorate – Al-Muqdadiya district for summer agricultural season 2021 in order to study the effect of humic acid, bentazone pesticides and fusilade on the growth of the crops associated with the diamond crop. The seeds were planted on 5/7/2021 and a fertilization system was followed by adding phosphate fertilizer in the form of triple super phosphate P2O5 at a rate of 80 kg. hectare-1 at once when preparing the land before planting by mixing the fertilizer with the soil, and urea nitrogen fertilizer (46% N) added at a rate of 40 kg Hectare-1 in two batches, the first when planting and the second at the beginning of the flowering phase (according to the recommendation of the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture). The pesticides were sprayed in the phase of (2-4) leaves for broad-leaved bushes and (3-6) leaves for thin-leaved bushes. Data were analyzed statistically according to sector design Complete randomization and based on the computational program Genstat through the use of the computer, by Duncan’s polynomial test at the level of significance 5%.
The results obtained are summarized as follows:
First: The control treatments recorded a significant superiority over the bush treatment in the characteristic of the density of the broad-leaved bush, and no significant difference was recorded in the treatments of adding humic from the lack of addition.
Second: The control treatments were significantly superior to the dry weight of the target bush, as the bush treatment (wide) achieved the highest significant value (109.25) g. m 2 It was also observed a significant superiority in this trait in favor of the treatments of adding humic to the bush (broad) leaves.
