Abstract

A field experiment was carried out at the Field Crops Department Research Station – College of Agriculture – Tikrit University, during the winter season 2021-2022 to study some characteristic of vegetative growth. It was used randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D) with three replications in accordance with system of split plots for one-time. The results have been compared depending on Duncan test on possibility level (1% and 5%).The results of the study showed that the Syrian variety was significantly superior in most yield characteristics and components of flax plant, as the percentage of the number of capsules per plant was (68,819) plant capsule⁻¹ and the yield of the individual plant was (3.316) gm plant⁻¹ and the harvest index was (15.42)%. The fertilizer combination (T9) was significantly superior to most of the studied traits of flax plant in the characteristics of the number of capsules per plant (83,720) and the yield of the individual plant (4.783) g of plant⁻¹, the biological yield (23,903) and the harvest index (19,516)%. The dual interaction showed a significant effect on the traits, yield, components and quality, as the interaction between the Syrian variety and the fertilizer combination (T9) was superior to most of the studied traits, such as the number of capsules (88.12) plant capsule⁻¹, the individual plant yield (5.361) gm plant⁻¹, the biological yield (21.04)% and the evidence The harvest (21.273)%.
