Abstract

A field experiment was carried out in the 2020 and 2021 seasons in the fields of a farmer – Al-Dur / Salah Al-Din District, with the aim of evaluating the indicators of yield for six compositions of sorghum (Warka – Rabeh – Li – Giza – J – Save) with different agricultural dates (first 3/1 and the second 4/1, the third 15/1, the fourth 6/1, and the fifth 7/1). The experiment was designed using the RCBD design using the Siplt-plots system with three replications. The planting dates occupied the main panels, while the genotypes occupied the secondary panels. The yield characteristics and components (number of head grains, weight of 1000 grains, the single plant yield, biological yield and harvest index) were studied. Results: The results show that there is a significant difference between seasons for all studied traits except for the number of head grains. Sowing dates were significantly superior in most of the traits. Dates (7/1) were superior in the trait of the number of head grains (3466.7) head grains-1 and (5/1) in the characteristics of the weight of 1000 grains (37,647) g, and the yield of the single plant (105.273) g and the Biological (364.056) g and (3/1) as harvest guide (31.909%). As for the genotypes, it had a significant effect on all traits, as the composition (J) was superior in the characteristics of the number of head grains(3912.5) grain head-1, the yield of the individual plant (92.641) g and the harvest index (32,526%) and a winner in the trait of weight of 1000 grains (33.864) g Brief description of the biological yield (310.477) g. The two interactions significantly affected all traits, as the interaction between (first season X 7/1) in the number of head grains and (second season X 5/1) in weight of 1000 grains and (first season X 5/1) for the two traits of ithe single plant yield And the biological yield and (first season X 6/1) for the trait of the harvest index. And (first season x winner) in the number of head grains and (second season x winner) for the traits of

weight of 1000 grains and harvest guide, and (second season x J) in the trait of plant yield and (second season x Giza) for the trait of biological yield, while the overlap (7/ 1 X winner) in the number of head grains and (1/6 X warka) in the weight of 1000 grains and (4/1 X J) in the case of the single plant yield and (1/1 X Li) for biological yield and (1/3 X Li) As a guide to harvest. The triple interactions differed between the study factors significantly, where the superiorityof the overlap (first season X 1/1 X winner), (second season X 5/1 X winner), (second season X 1/4 X X J) and (first season X 1/5 X winner). And (Second Season X 5/1 X winner) in all the studied traits.
