Abstract
This study was conducted during spring of 2022 in the Horticulture Research Station, college of Agriculture, University of Tikrit ,Five varieties including Charleston Gray, Crimson Sweet, King Charleston, Royal Charly, and Top Grey, as well as the comparison variety , to full diallels crosses , the seeds of genotypes were planted (five parents +10 reverse hybrids + 10 + the comparison variety Charming F1 , conducted during spring of 2023, using the randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D.) with three replicates. The 4×1, 1×2, 1×3, 1×4, 2×4, 3×4 , and 1×5hybrids showed significant hybrid vigor for most of traits studied. This was according to deviation in first generation from the average of parents. The hybrids 2×1 , 3×1, and 4×3 illustrated significant hybrid vigor for majority of the traits based on the difference between first generation and best parents.
