Abstract

This study examined production of phospholipase enzyme and the formation of Bioflim from some types of yeasts that have been isolated from Urine.

Tests were performed on yeasts (C. albicans C. krusei, C. glabrata, and C. tropicalis) with 10 isolates per species,  The results of the phospholipase enzyme test showed that 7 isolates from C. albicans showed a positive result as 70%

As for C. glabrata showed 60% of the isolates had the ability to produce this enzyme ( 6 isolates) and followed by a yeast C.krusei with only two isolates that had ability to produce the phospholipes enzyme at a percentage of 20% . Finally, C.tropicalis only one yeast isolated showed the positive result 10%, had the ability to produce this enzyme

The results of Biofilm production showed C.albicans were the most productive of the biofilm at  90% (9 isolates) the yeast  C.glabrata was 4 isolates have the ability to produce Biofilm (40%) The yeast C.krusei was 3 isolated from it had a positive result of 30%. The yeast C.tropicalis  was 9 isolated from it was negative and one positive that’s only 10% .
