Abstract
The study of antibiotic resistance in water and soil environments has been studied in the past few years through molecular and biotechnological methods, but antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in biological aerosols have not received much attention, as antibiotic resistance genes have recently appeared, leading to an increased spread of transmission. Horizontal gene transfer (HGT).
The production and use of antibiotics has become increasingly common around the world, and the problem of antibiotic resistance is growing alarmingly. Drug-resistant infections threaten human life and health and place a heavy burden on the global economy. The molecular basis of bacterial resistance is the presence of antibiotic resistance genes (ABGs). The current study aimed to test the drug sensitivity of pathogenic bacterial species isolated from the air of Basra Governorate during the period 3/1/2023 until 11/1/2023. According to the system The automated microbiological system vitek2:
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus hominis Mammilicoccus lentus, Atlantibacteria hermannii, Staphylococcus epidermidis .
