Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the legal provisions of the Investors’ Grievance No. 163 of 2019, and the instructions issued pursuant to it for the resolution of investment disputes arising between the parties to investment contracts by taking action or refraining from taking action in a way that affects the rights and guarantees of the investor as specified in relevant legislation, international agreements related to investment to which Jordan is a party, or by the contracts between the investor and the government entity. In addition, the study discussed the nature of the grievance and its difference from other alternative means for resolving investment disputes as well as the mandatory force of the decisions issued by the
grievance committees formed under this system.
