Abstract
The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of a proposed strategy, based on intentional behavioral theory, on the achievement of fourth -grade literary students in geography. The researcher followed a descriptive and experimental approach. The study sample consisted of (60) fourth -grade literary students at Al-Nahedh Iraq Preparatory School for Boys for the academic year (2024-2025). They were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, randomly assigned. The experimental group consisted of (30) students, and the control group of (30) students. The researcher prepared a post-achievement test consisting of (24) items. After verifying the validity and reliability of the test, it was administered to the research sample. After correcting the test, the results showed statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group and the control group on the post-test, in favor of the experimental group over the control group. The researcher presented some conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions, including the development of an educational guide for intentional behavioral strategies to be implemented on students at different levels, each according to the strategy they are most compatible with. He also conducted a number of studies on behavioral strategies. Intentionality in academic achievement.
