Abstract :

The following in the directing experience by the students of the Department of Art Education is the application of Western art culture at the applied level in the student’s productions to have a refinement of theoretical and applied knowledge by observing his teacher’s experiences and aesthetic ideas or what he is influenced by during the study through the graduation project he presents. Therefore, the researcher studied this scientific phenomenon and divided it into four chapters. In the first chapter, he addressed the research problem summarized in the following question (What is the following in the directing experience of the theatrical show in the productions of the students of the Department of Art Education) in addition to the importance of the research as it is an important study that benefits researchers and students in the field of art education and theater, as well as the goal of the research (revealing the following in the directing experience of the theatrical show in the productions of the students of the Department of Art Education). In the second chapter, the theoretical framework was divided by the researcher into two topics. In the first topic, he addressed (the concept of the directing experience), in which the researcher reviewed the starting points of the experience globally and philosophically and the difference between it and the modern directing experience. As for the second topic (the following in the directing experience in the Iraqi theater), the researcher reviewed the most important directing experiences. Modern and the influence of pioneering Iraqi directors on the experiences of international theater directors. This came as a result of the student’s study and the influence of Iraqi theater in the West. The chapter concluded with the most prominent indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework. In the third chapter, the research procedures were discussed. The researcher dealt with the research sample, which is the play (The Rime of the Rose), directed by Dr. Qasim Mu’nis, whose staff included students from the Department of Art Education. The other sample is the play (Ali Al-Wardi and his Rime), written by Aqil Mahdi and directed by the student Aqil Abdul Ali, who derived his directing experience from his professor Qasim Mu’nis and was influenced by his academic ideas. The researcher analyzed the research sample. In the fourth chapter, the researcher extracted the most important results, conclusions, recommendations, suggestions, a list of sources and references, and a summary of the research in both Arabic and English.
