Abstract :
In conclusion, this study reveals that Satanic dominance in the Quranic conception is not a coercive power that overrides human will, but rather a subtle process of influence targeting human consciousness through embellishment, the instilling of false hopes, and the reshaping of values and perceptions. Satan does not possess the power of coercion, but operates within the bounds of divine trial, relying on an inherent susceptibility in humans manifested in weak faith, succumbing to desires, and a lack of awareness. Therefore, the “prescribed portion” is not attained through inherent power, but rather through the individual’s own submission and their taking Satan as a patron.
The verse reveals the most important mechanisms of this influence, beginning with the creation of intellectual dependency, passing through deception and manipulation that plunges a person into illusion and procrastination, and culminating in the attempt to alter human nature and divert it from its monotheistic path. This alteration is essentially spiritual, relating to the deviation of belief and behavior, even though it has material manifestations in contemporary reality when the body is separated from its innate identity without any legitimate or medical necessity.
The research also confirmed that the human soul is the true arena of conflict, and that Satan is a secondary cause, while responsibility remains with the individual and their choices. Therefore, liberation from this domination is possible through a comprehensive Quranic project based on activating the intellect, establishing sincerity, maintaining remembrance and seeking refuge in God, continuous repentance, striving against desires, and building a conscious, faith-based environment. However, Satanic domination is a domination over consciousness, not will, and the Holy Quran does not merely reveal its mechanisms, but also presents a method for liberation from it by reviving the authority of reason linked to guidance, so that the individual may return to their innate nature, balanced in their choices, behavior, and responsibility.
