Abstract:

This research deals with the concept of the divine selection process for choosing those who are competent to carry the divine message and preserve the religion, to show that the selection continues from the selection of the Prophet and then proceeds in his family, peace be upon them. The research includes Qur’anic evidence and noble hadiths that> prove this. The conclusion of this study is that the divine selection process is an extension of divine guidance after prophethood and is one of the basic elements in preserving the religion.
